Tecnoflon^® TN

Tecnoflon^® TN is a high viscosity fluoroelastomer terpolymer. Tecnoflon^® TN is well suited for applications requiring better chemical resistance and/or long term heat resistance compared to fluoroelastomer copolymers. It can be blended with other polymers of the Tecnoflon^® family to meet specific requirements. TN does not contain curatives, therefore the proper levels of VANAX^® FC-20 Granules and VANAX^® FC-30 Granules must be added to achieve the required properties. It can also be cured with diamines.

• Excellent chemical resistance

• Good compression set

• Excellent mold release

• Lack of mold fouling

• Superior mold flow

Tecnoflon^® TN can be used for compression and transfer molding of shaft seals, valve stem seals, O-rings, gaskets, seals or any item requiring excellent chemical resistance. Tecnoflon^® TN can be combined with the cure system and other typical fluoroelastomer compounding ingredients. Mixing can be accomplished with two roll mills or internal mixers. Tecnoflon^® TN can be extruded into hoses or profiles and can be calendered to make sheet stocks or belting. Finished goods can be produced by a variety of rubber processing methods.
