This stabilizer retards oxidation, skinning and variations in color and viscosity in a wide range of polymers and resins. This workhorse hot-melt stabilizer is especially effective in rosins. It is usable in hot melts where only one general-purpose stabilizer is permitted, but it normally is used as a component in specialty hot-melt antioxidant systems. (ZDBC)
