VANLUBE® LVZ is a zinc 2-ethylhexanoate in a light solvent. Zinc 2-ethylhexanoate, more commonly known as zinc octanoate, can be used in various catalysts and catalytic precursors for organic synthesis.In petroleum applications, possible uses are corrosion inhibitor and H2S scavenger in lubricants.
